Have read a couple other posts on copying morrowind save games from the pc to the xbox, and that this is possible with the original morrowind on the xbox.
However I am having no luck getting a save game from the PC that is running Morrowind with tribunal and bloodmoon addons onto the xbox Morrowind Goty.
I have tried upgrading Morrowind/Tribunal/Bloodmoon on the PC to the latest versions, Creating a character from scratch with and without the bloodmoon/tribunal addons enabled, edited the save gave with a hex editor and changing the bloodmoon.ess/tribunal.ess to morrowind.ess (just like is needed with the mods), all to no avail.
Always get the "Unable to load save game" error.
I am moving over the ess file into an existing save game directory (removing it's old ess) and leaving those other 3 files alone which are in the same directory (the pc doesn't have the other files).
Would love to be able to move my character back to the xbox. He started out on the xbox and got moved to the pc when tribinal and bloodmoon came out on the pc, and I imagine quite a few out there have done this, so I can't be the only one who would like to move the character BACK to the xbox so I can play in the living room on the couch <g>.
Anyone have any ideas, or has been able to do this?
