Morrowind Goty Modding?

Has anyone found out anymore information on this?

I am trying to get these tribunal mods to work.  I tried Necrorise beta 2 and Magical Trinkets of Tramil 2 to work.

I replace the reference to Tribunal in with a hex editor (if I don't I get a DDE error).   After doing that the game boots but the mod won't work.  Nothing is different.  At least I think so.  Magical trinkets is suppose to have a Dark Mage class and the people in sada neen are supose to mention a necromancer.  Instead nothing, still talk about Solsium.

Midget I tried what you said.  I changed the stuff like you said (matches regular working morrowind mods) doing this automaticly changes the TES3 to TES3Z and the ff stuff in my editor.  The same thing happens nothing is different in the game.

I was wondering if the community has made any progress with this?  I have tried but I can't figure it out.  I really want to play these sweet necromancer mods coming out that require Tribunal/Bloodmoon along with some of the other good mods out now.

Thanks guys.

*tee he he*
I'm as giddy as a school-girl.
Here's how to mod almost EVERY pc mod to the GOTY ver.

Firstly:
Go here: TES Tools

get the TES Dependency Tool Kit.
Download the Java Runtime Environment from...here . It's like 15 megs.

Run the proggy, click on the checkboxes next to Tribunal.esm and Bloodmoon.esm and click minus. YIPEE. In the prog's directory, the modified plugin.
Put the modded plugin into the cache of GOTY. You don't need to edit any ini's, nor put anything in the main GOTY dir. Just the cache.
Load and play.

Hurray for ME!!

I *REALLY* hope this helps you guys out.

biggrin.gif There is now a utility to convert the .nif files of a Morrowind mod so that they work on the Xbox. No more hex editing. You can download it at the summit
http://www.rpgplanet...ntrols/mods.asp

I've now got better bodies, Astarsis heads, and water nymph working on the xbox

Has anyone figured out how to use PC MW saves on the Xbox version of MW? GOTY or otherwise?  It's a piece of cake to use xbox saves on PC MW, but after putting a lot of hours into the pc version, I'd like to put my MW save back on xbox.

Also, has anyone tried editing the INI file to show the FPS by adding "showfps=1" ?

You need to set better bodies.asm as active to combine the plugins. The resulting file should be between 70 and 80 megs. Once you have this file, 'Merge to Masters'
and rename the resulting file as Morrowind.esm

I think that's caused when you try to load all 3 master files.  Try just loading morrowind and bloodmoon.

I have the same problem and it's doing my nut in, having to transfere to the cache everytime I wanna play is just poo.

If I were to use the 'better bodies' plugin with goty would I put textures and meshes in the cache or in the actual game location on the harddrive?
