I'll post the old Kotor Tool on my yahoo groups website and post the link on this forum. I should get that done sometime today when I get home from work.
About ftp...
The best way to ftp between your pc and your xbox would either be via internet explorer (I find this method very simple because of the drag and drop method) or via Ultrafxp. Ultra is a free and userfriendly program that has all the same functionalies as the other shareware files out there.
As for Internet Explorer, this is what you do:
-First make sure that your xbox is networked via broadband router
-Open your Internet Explorer
-On the address bar, type in ftp://(insert your xbox's IP address here) you can get this from the dashboard of your xbox's OS (For Avalaunch, bottom left, for Evox bottom right...it should read something like 192.168...)
-Your username and password should both be "xbox" (No quotes)
-You'll then see the contents of your xbox
-What you want is to access this directory (We'll assume that your game directory is on the F drive)
F:\Games\SW Kotor 2 (or SW Kotor 1)
-Then open a seperate window for Windows Explorer
-From here, you can drag contents from your PC to you Xbox and vice-versa.
Hope this helps...
I must be doing something wrong cause I keep getting page not found when I use internet. I downloaded flash ftp but can't get any kind conection to my xbox, or I don't know where to look to get a connection to my xbox?
I'm sorry for these annoying questions.
I guess once I can talk between my pc and xbox then modding will be somewhat easy?
Plus when people mention not being able to add new models what does that mean exactly? I have done some mods for the pc and have added a new selectable head at the select screen and was able to wear the robes of the sith that are fond in the game. Or you just can't have a new hilt model--still learning the terminalagy of modding
