Replacement Of Files

I downloaded a lot of mods to put in my HDD for KOTOR.  On a lot of them it replaces files like "appearance.d2a" or "feats.d2a."  If I keep replacing them over and over again will this cause conflicts with other mods?

Overwriting any 2da files will leave the previous mod useless. This is the most common problem with mods, since the majority use a modified 2da.
