here's the deal: i flashed my TSOP and installed avalaunch, but i don't have enough disk space. i'm also sorta poor at the moment so i thought i'd try to re-use this 40 gig drive (maxtor) to buy me some time.

i downloaded and prepared an xiso of new_hd_evox1.4. it works. i can boot off of it instead of the stock hard drive.

but when i put the 40 gig drive in, it gives me error 13, unable to load dash, instead of booting from the cdrw.

i tried different jumper configs just to be sure. in slave, it says HDD error (error 9 i think it was?). in master it gives the error 13 again. and like i said, in cable select, error 13.

does anyone know what is going on here? why am i getting a DASH error when it should be able to boot from the cdrw?

is there any hope for getting this working?
