Questions With Czn Trained Halo

I patched Halo 1 with the CZN trainer, using winips 1.2 then copied the patched files to e:\games.  When I try to load it it hangs on the "Your Selection is loading" screen of evox/evolutionx.  WHen I tried patchign with winips 2.0, I kept getting "one of the files does not exist" errors.

Any ideas or suggestions would be great, and I apologize if this has been asked before.  I did look, but the only things I could find didn't have actual solutions.  

On the other side, if there is an evox (.etm) trainer for Halo, I'd prefer to use that.
