Playing Modded Maps

o.k so I am new to the halo modding scene and I have a few questions here.First off I modded a couple of maps and changed some weapon stuff around and it works really well.The problem I am having is that I can only play my custom maps if I load the game off of my hdd if I put the original game disk in my modded maps will not work.You guys think you can help me out here.

thats because youre loading the maps off the disk, of course that wont work...

Even with my x3 chip on and I use my original game disk it will not work is thier any way I can use my maps with the original game disk in?

just copy the files on ur hdd to disc. It works for me.

The orignal disc will not play modded maps, because their is no modded material on their. THe xbox doesnt go looking for maps on ur hdd because it is told to lookk on D drive only (the disc).

Well you could be smart and load the mod onto ur box, then make it so your box skips reading the disk and reads directly to the map file. But then again why do you want to not use the normal way?
