Does anybody know how to take a normal halo map, and decompress it, and keep it decompressed?

get the cache file.. (should be something like map003.map or whatever)

rename to what its really called and (im assuming you have halo on hd..)

replace with what you have in

IF you replace a map with a cahce file, it won't work. You have to Compress the map, then you could replace the default map...
