locked a 120Gb hd through Evox Dashboard. Xbox has gone belly up Flashing red light. Want to reuse the HD but it is locked. Did evox use a random lock key or did it it use original lock key. What can I do to unlock the drive.

it uses the eeprom lock key. if the xbox is now toast, you better have a backup of the eeprom or your screwed.

Well I should be ok then as I have a backup copy of the backup folder (the one when you run backup from evoxdash) created when I replaced the HD in the first place. So it just uses the same hd lock key as in the hdinfo.txt file??

If you locked it VIA Evox then you can use the master password TEAMASSEMBLY. EvoX uses configmagic code to lock the HDD. You're still in good shape.
