Halo Last Level Timer Hack

I am stuck on this level, i just don't make it in time, and my wheels keep flipping over when I crash.

I want to stop this timer when I choose, I have the PAL UK version.

with enough attempts, you'll be able to get it. I good tip is when Cortana is talking to you and tells you to stop, don't. Just keep going, that'll gain you couple of seconds. Also, before you hit the jump that you're suppose to avoid, there is a path to the right side that is better than swirving the car back and forth. Never let go of the gas unless necessary.

cool, I'll try those, its just the controls of the damn thing is terrible. Holding onto the two analogs. its just not right. anyway.  If anyone can help with the timer thing? I'm sure others and me (if I still can't beat it using those tips) will appreciate it.

I know where it is on the PC edition, its in the exe file itself,  But we can't use memory editors on the xbox, so I don't know if it's possible.
