Possible To Still Us Ppf Patches

I downloaded the NMP2-cXe inject a few weeks, and recently downloaded a PPF patch for BG.  I was wondering if I'm still able to use PPF patches after installing that NMPcXe inject, cuz I'm having problems getting Halo to read the injected cache003.map.  Any help or an answer would be appreciated.
