What i did was

1. get cache002
2. open it in HMT3.5
3. open the Bitmap section.
4. Scrool down and find all the bitmpas you want to change (they have preview pictures)
5. save them and edit them in photoshop

But be warned if you plan on doing a full UI youll be editing 100+ bitmaps. Ive been working on one for 2 days now and will release it soon.

Yea I want to do the same but I have no idea how I go by saving the dds files and having them work properly in Halo. Can someone give me all the settings that I need to change to make them save properly? Thanks

HMtV3.5 tells you the exact type to save them as. IE if it opens with MIPS youll need to make the same changes to as many of the mips and select the "Use exisitng mips" tab when you save. It will tell you at the top weither its a DXT1 or DXT2-5 or a 8bit

I was going to wait to release my UI till later but since there seems to be a demand for a new UI ill release mine tonight (at least the beta ph34r.gif ) and ill follow it up with a tut.

ill post some screens in a minute or so to wet the beak
