theres several good tutorials available but i dont have the links anymore due to reformatting so...

Easy way to get the xbox name to in game characters if your modded is to Use XboxToolBoxX. Its a great program thats makes changing and storing xbox names. The characters include
%a-button
%Crouch
%zoom
%b-button
and so on and so forth


The hard way to do it is to grab the nickname.xbn and h ex edit and insert the above characters yourself.  If you do be sure to leave a 00 between all the characters

theres a pretty complete list of the commands available somwhere but i dont have the links anymore. Its also hard to get them to left allign and you still have to abide by the 11 letter rule. (i.e. %zoom%crouch%a-button wouldnt work)
