Take a gun such as a pistol and aim a little upwards, then have someone jump up through that area and the pistol should drag a little, although I do believe this is in the game type options.

People have asked this many times before
No one is going to release it (I'm almost positive that someone has done this before)

Ummm, for 1) if you are talking about system link auto-aim hack. Not going to happen. I would like to make it known to all you noobs that the xbox automatically detects major differences in the code over a system link and the game will either go out of sync, or will end in a draw almost immediatly after it starts. So next time you want to accuse someone of hacking on XBC, stfu. UNLESS they are glasswalling, which will work because textures can be different. There is also a hack where you can take out any other sounds besides guns reloading and footsteps, so you can hear where someone is a lot easier.
2) if you are not talking about system link hack, then all you would need to do is use HMT and up the magnetism of the projectile on the weapons and the auto-aim angle.

I'm just sick of people accusing people with modded boxes of cheating and it needs to be stopped. The noobs like most of you, know nothing about it and it needs to stop.

Here's the story...

Supposedly someone made an auto-aim hack that worked on system-link games.  If you were a noob, and you used this hack you would be an Elite by the end of the day.  This hack was only shared between about three people, and I don't think it was released to the Halo public.  It featured some crazy editing, so I have no idea how this hack worked on LAN.  This was a major cheating tool, so I guess the makers thought it best not to release it...

I don't know who made this hack, because I read a similiar post on another forum.  I think the creators names were posted, but I forget which website this was at...

Maybe some people actually still have this hack.  I hope not.  Anyways, either try to hunt this thing down, or make it! laugh.gif

Simple tasks, if you truly need it then you do not need to play the game. Either learn some simple skills or shut up and go swap projectiles. I am sick and tired of noobs asking the samd damn simple questions over and over again. Every site I go to has 50+ topics on auto aim. Please, STFU.

Well, I'm no noob, and I've been playing Halo PC online for quite some time now, and I guarantee you that there are mods out there.  I don't know where you get them, and don't want to know.  Frankly, I hate when people with mods join in a Halo CTF match because it throws off the balance.

When to suspect a cheat mod:
1. When you are an unreasonable long distance from someone, driving in a hog or flying a banshee, and someone picks you off with a pistol over and over again (and if you pay attention, you'll see that they are doing it to others, and always with just a pistol).
2. In a full 16-person match, you see an average of 20 kills and 15 deaths per person, except for one person who has 65 kills and 0 deaths.
3. When you blast someone 6 or 7 times with a missile, or close-up shotgun straight to the face, and the live through it (and while you're laying there dead, you notice others shooting them, and they live through that as well).
4. When someone openly admits that they are using a cheat mod (and some people have no shame and don't have a problem admitting it).

From a programming perspective, it isn't really difficult to fool the Halo server into thinking the client is legitimate.  A mod basically does some of the work for the player (such as aiming) transparent to the server.

The people who use these mods are one of the lowest forms of Halo players, 2nd only to psychos who like to TK for fun.
