Although sometimes HCE will take about 50 times longer to patch a map then ppf o matic will.

for bigger patches(1mb or more), i patch a clean cache file with ppf-o-matic, then store it on the xbox HD

when i want to use it, i use boXplorer to move the patched cache file back to X/Y/Z.
it's quicker to move it that way than actually patching it through HCE

the one downside is that it overwrites any mods you have already done on the map you are transferring, souse that map first, THEN start messing with it

what you could do is setup a naming system

pre-patch all your maps u want

put them on the xbox hdd named like:

003-level-nameofmod.extension

whenever u wanna use it rename the file to the cache file via ftp or avalaunch
