n00b
its not always in Z, it might be in X or Y

but start up halo and start a level, they'll come back to one of the 3 folders

if they dont, make sure you check and refresh each folder, sometimes you need to refresh

Dont call me a noob I know what I am looking for the shit is not there.  I have been modding for 8 months.  I cannot find the damn files no matter what I do.  When I refresh the drives the file that was on there before just disappeared.  X has a few files in it that are for Avalaunch.  Y is empty and so is Z.  I did everything you just typed in before you even thought of it.
Can someone else answer the question without being a dumbass and calling me a noob.
Thanks for the support SPGURLEY next time please dont answer one of my questions you bring down the whole meaning of a help forum.

you bring down the whole meaning of a help forum.

Actually, this is a halo hacking forum. If you're looking for a "help forum" try the newbie section. Usually when you ask a question people will call you a n00b whether you are new or not so calm down.

Now for the Z partition, try using any game, app, etc. that will utilize the Z partition and when it doesn't find it then it will create it.

OK.  Today I got up for work and figured what the hell I am going to ftp my system and viola the were my files, not in Z but for some reason in Y.  I like these files in Z but the fact that they are there now is fine by me.
Is there a difference between shuting down the xbox and rebooting the xbox.  I just realized I only did reboots instead of turning my system off.  I wonder if that made the difference.
Oh well files are there time to mod thanx for everyones help.

i can't find the Halo cache files anywhere, i know that they are there,
but i can't see them in the x, y or z partition. i've tried with ftp,
i've tried the ava file manager and evox, they aren't there.
