Background Music In Halo
« on: June 17, 2004, 05:55:00 PM »

Polite as can be, I am asking you to please use google, the xbox scene forum search (which is rarely available), xbox scene itself and halo mods.com and any other affiliates and links they may have available on both of the site, and no I will not hand feed you the links. I think you have been lazy and  selfish to repetitively ask everyone for help when it CAN be found through searching, does it take some effort? YES! But in the end it will be worth it.

QUOTE
So, i posted my own damn topic, happy?

This is the Internet, you know; therefore you shouldn't take anything anyone says personally.

Anyway, while I don't have a direct answer to your question, I have some ideas. You could inject the new sound over something that isn't used (tree stump), redirect the "ambience countryday" (or whatever it's called) index reference to the new sound, and mess with the looping sound data (although that's mostly untouched data).

It'd be easier to look up the guy who did the level Temple from Goldeneye on Blood Gulch. That had the James Bond theme song playing, and it looped pretty well. Maybe he could tell you how he did it. It's probably still over on the files section at Halomods. Good luck.
