Getting Rid Of Nmp
« on: June 17, 2004, 07:21:00 AM »

Alright, I put the Halo-NMP on my xbox, and I used to be able to play that and get the different maps, and then select my regular halo and play the old maps.  Now regardless of which one I play I always get the NMP maps.  What do I have to do to get back to my old halo maps?

Delete your cache and that should do the trick...if not that means that you played a "regular" halo map with the halo nmp cache loaded. Then what you should do is just delete your maps folder in regular halo and then replace them with the originals.

If you knew it was that easy why not just do it?

Well, I did that last night, then reinstalled Halo and it was still there.

Go into the X:/ drive and delete all the 'Cache00*.map' files, where * is a number between 1-5

run it off of the disc, if it's still there, then you'll at least know that it is the cache.

i'm sure that you have cleared the cache though, so i dunno.. .
