How To Put Maps Into Halo.

If blood gulch looks exactly the same after you patched the cache file, then you did somethin wrong.

I would just practice patching cache files, transferring them, and playing them to make sure you have those steps down.  Then go on to the compressing and renaming for the NMP.

Its not hard but easy to make mistakes if you're a noob.

I am having the same problem. It seems simple but what are we doing wrong? I have read the readme. 6 times now and I cant see the problem. Some of it makes no sense though. Should I be patching bg caches with prisoner ppf's?

I think I figured it out. Someone correct me if Im wrong, please. Most of the patches are for bg. The first initials in () is the cache you use and the second () is what you name it. After you have ftped it to your xbox, select the board according the the second (). I have only done one board so I am not totally sure on this. I think there is only one mod for chillout and one for boarding action. Again, someone correct me if I am wrong.

a lot of PPF patches OI've downloaded don't work at all.  try manually hex editing it.

Yeah that'll do it, but it's temporary

where is the cache 003 file located, I found one in my Y folder, so I guess that is the one to use??  So I also have to do that with every map??, load map in halo, reboot xbox, then load cache 003 and patch???
