you have 2 options,

1. If you downloaded and installed the halo Cache Editor on your box,now you need to open the level in halo you want to mod, then all you have to do is put the patch in the ppf folder of your region, then open up the cache editor,hit Back, the go to patch cache file and your all but done

2. if you dont have the cache editor, you need to open the level in halo you want to mod, reset the xbox, FTP into your x or y drive,grab the cache003 map (usually,depends on how many levels you have in there) then get ppf-o-matic and use it to apply said patch to said level, then ftp the patched cahceoo? map back in to its folder and your done

long story short get the Halo Cache Editor off xbins for all your basic hacking needs
