There was a thread about this not too long ago, I've never seen it myself but people are trying to recreate the situation.

30 player halo would be mayhem!

The only downside was that one of us would get frozen/stuck while the other could move and the whole process would alternate!  dry.gif

Actually one time, me and my friend played with 2 people, and when we finished, we got another box and my friend's box and they did the splice box thing like 6 times in a row, it was really wierd. Then when we started to play just to mes aroudn with it, the other two people from the eariler game were still in (but not moving, they werent on on XBC). So even though it said there were onyl 2 boxes, there were actually 4

I have a pretty smart idea.....

This happens in syslink games right...

So, somebody should have a lan party with more than 4 boxes, and try to join xbconnect with all boxes....because there is only one Nic in your P.C. that is connected to the boxes, and there are too many boxes, it might just trick the game into thinking the extra syslink boxes are part of the first 4 boxes!

In theory it should work.... unfortanately everyone around me has a ps2 but no xbox...thus the need for xbconnect dry.gif

Yeah, that's a pretty good idea.  Not heard of it tried before.  Can't try it though...freakin' dialup.  grr.gif

i use my controller in 2nd slot allot and i joined a game at same time as my friend adn we ended on same box inside system link he had his guy in 1st slot and mine in 2nd. so we were split screen and could see exactly as if they were on the same box.

No. It won't work.

I have been over at houses where they have tried to do this, and it hasn't worked. You can connect more than four xboxes up to a router which has more than four ports, but you can't play with more than four boxes.

The only way you can play w/o the game messing up is if, you can see your Xbox connected to System Link Game. It has to rely on getting the information from that Xbox. Player names, Xbox name, etc...
