Halo Cahce Files And Eeproms...
« on: March 13, 2004, 02:20:00 PM »

I have a query for all of you smart peoples.

My buddy and I were system linking on our modded xboxs, and instead of taking our cache files to mod seperatly, we just took his and patched his, then we uploaded it to his xbox and then to mine.

Ever since then we have not been able to system link with each other. We can system link with other people, just not each other. We can also both join the same game as long as we are not hosting.

So, my question is: Do the cache files write to the Eeproms at all? I am wondering because this is the only thing we can think that would cause this problem.

No, Halo does not write to the EEPROM.

I would do Halo modding the right way, rather doing it that way, which doesn't work it seems.
