yes if both sides have the same cheats from the trainer activated it will not run outof sync,
same with mods,,both sides must have it.
if you want something to wet your lips yes one side can cheat but it takes a good deal of knowledgeable hacking that i dont have,
so if you want to be unfair and cheat no, but if you wanna have fun with some modded friends yes
