oh yea forgot to say to use it once you get in the game press the left then right thumbstick to bring up this wierd flashy thing that has all the stuff you can do just scroll to one you want and left and right sets it to yes or no

what do you mean? a trainer works on every level, even when your not in a map... on halo anyways

check X and Y folders they are all used for cache

ok delete everything in all 3 folders then run halo and load map you want. then go back, they should be there. IF NOT right click and REFRESH in Z. This has happened to me numerous times you have to refresh and theyll show up

yes you could do that, but youd have to add whatever maps you were going to use too. All the multiplayer maps could easily fit on a cd-rw, but youd need a DVD to put all the single player on too. Be sure to include ui.map too

what? you cant run a patched default.xbe from an ORIGINAL cause the original is just that, original. the only way is either make a backup on a CDRW or DVD and patch the .xbe or put it on your harddrive..

their have been many topics on this subject.....do a search first next time.....

-valis....you can use 3 differ *temporary* mods (cache) at a time (each different levels) cache003.map=1st modded level.... cache004.map=2nd modded level... cache005.map=3rd modded level.

*although....if you compress the cache files....you can put them into your halo maps folder and they will be permanent....

-paintballgod.....you cannot use the trainer off of the Original DVD....if you burnt a DVD that would be different..... but however it IS possible to do the ppf mods with the origial.... you just need FTP access to your X,Y,Z drives..... (and it is also possible w/out a mod-chip... NO i am not going to explain how)

so i can move the patched cache00x.map files into the maps folder w/o changing the name and they will be permanent?

that would be nice if you could, so if their in the maps folder you pick them in the regular map selection part of multiplayer?
