Halo Playing On Gba!
« Reply #45 on: November 21, 2003, 01:57:00 PM »

the whole thing is fake, mods please look at all that has been posted and delete this side of the forum

We need to have a pinned forum called "Bullshit", where the mods can address issues like these so that users dont flood xb-scene making it nearly damn impossible to access this site

this has been proven fake, leftyFB pulled a good rib on those who believed it...and it looked convincing at first

the last couple of posts make me wanna play halo on an  N-gage ( which has been hacked and abused to shit recently )

However if anyone out there has any gameboy programming expirience show us your HALO homebrews. In my lifetime i have seen quake 2 play on a GBA, graphics may have been blurry, but it was pulled off

Um ... a mod is the one who put this together and made the video. This was made for a little amusement, nothing more. Neither I nor anyone else ever said that this was an actual emulator playing a Halo rom on the GBA.

As i said before, take a midol and don't take things so seriously. Learn to enjoy a good laugh.

p.s. that mod happens to be me smile.gif

The game you see on the GBA screen IS Halo ..  same EXACT game you play on XBOX
The game is being played realtime, not pre-recorded
There is no streaming of video or audio going through the GC link game you see in the back
The GBA has not been taken apart or modified in it's original design in any way

whats it suppost to be then? If you didnt stream it from the data cable then how did it magically appear on the screen? It seems you implied that it was an emulator since how else could it have gotten there if it wasent recorded or streamed?

read the whole thread.

Im just saying that either way you look at it we have been lied to.

If he didnt stream it or play a movie how did it get on the gameboy??

He said he didnt stream it, yet he sais it was all made up.

when did we get lied to? and how many lies were told?

Show the freaking cart, this would clear all of this up with absolutely no question at all. But we all know it isn't halo.gba

Why bother?  If I claimed to have figured out how to run Halo on a toaster, would it really need debunking?

Claimed, you mean you havent done the simplest hack ever?

Edit: and oh yeah thats a data cord not a power cable.....

This proves nothing.  Why didn't you post a picture that clearly shows that there is no cartridge in the toaster slot?

That just seems like a funny quote.  Like it could have happened before your were born?  Or wasn't likely to happen for another 70 years?   tongue.gif

You people took this little joke way too seriously.

BTW, how can I go about getting one of those adapters?  I clicked the link earlier but I can't read Jap that well.  Actually I can't read it at all.
