After looking at it again last night I came up with some more ideas about the Kill Limit.
There (is, maybe) a limiter in the .xbe. What this means is in the .xbe it says how many kills you can choose from when you make a game type. I have not looked in the xbe because I lack the knowledge.
The blam.lst files maybe zipped like the .map files on the DVD. Reason why I say this is I tried what tjc2k4 asked. I made two game types. One hade 50 kill limit. The other had a 25 limit. All other variables were the same. When I looked at the two files side by side they were almost completely different.
Offset 00000000 - 0000003f seems to be a header. Info was the same besides the name of the game type.
00000040 - 00000192 is the body. Info was totally different.
And 00000192 - 00000200 looks like a footer??? Info was exactly the same.
I tried to ungzip the files but had no luck.
Last but not least Where is hdmu.map located when the cache is deleted? It must be in the UDATA but I am to tired to look for it now.
I'll see what I can find after work.
