Sparkedit 1.1 Release Is Getting Close

Thanks to SourceGuy for preparing the announcement

Sparkedit 1.1 Will be released this week. (maybe even tomorrow)

Functionalities that will be supported are


-Editing teleporter ORIGIN AND destinations
-Editing scenery positions
-Editing weapon, vehicle and powerup spawn points
-Editing rally waypoints
-Editing player spawn points
-Editing king of the hill point
-Shows a description of selected object
-Mesh export to a .obj file (No import yet, and still buggy.)

Until the release, you could check out the new movie here, it's a very clear movie showing how editing works, and what the possibilities are.

What are the system requirements for Sparkedit?  I have a relatively crappy computer, Pentium 3 550 with 256 ram.  Will I be able to run this?

The requirements are relatively small, that system should be fine.  However, you will notice a large improvement if you have a high-end 3d card.

I haven't really been following sparkedit..does it allow you to extract/compress the map files?  (So we could like..save the maps on a disk?)
