Hey all-

SparkEdit 1.0 has been released. Head on over to www.HaloMods.com and download it for yourself.

Please report any issues to the HaloMods forums and we'll try to post answers to your questions as soon as we can.

Thanks to the guys at #halo-dev (especially PfhorSlayer) and all of the betatesters. In particular SourceGuy, BOLL, and MonoxideC.

does it let u test to see if the cache file is valid (wont freeze when launching)

Hey just thought I would let you know, I downloaded it, and tried to open a BG cache that had been hacked with my slayer_carnage.ppf and camera man hack and it wouldn't load. I don't have any others handy to try right now though...

Yeah. All my ppf edited maps won't load either.

The original loads though.

You 2 know they have to be the COMPRESSED maps right?
try re-compressing them then opening it

Wow! I love it. I just went through Rat Race and Blood Gulch and noticed the warp bases were missing. I know their just scenery but do you think they'll be added in later? I like the fact that you can see light sources.

Hmm..

I downloaded it, extracted it to a folder named SparkEdit, and whenever I try to open the exe, it says "SparkEdit.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. Etc Etc".

Does anyone know what the problem could be?
