ok, First let me say, its called the magical search button --->http://forums.xbox-s...act=Search&f=48
This Question has been asked a million times, but once again ill awnser it...
First, you have to pull out the default.xbe file from the game, then you patch it with the ips file of your choice, using the app "WINIPS", then insert it back into the game.

if you are making a back up, then you can take the default.xbe file from the content you are pulling out, and then patch it, then put it on a cd

Okay, fair enough. I forgot to mention that I have tried applying the patches before and recieved a Error 13. I never claimed to be an expert, and you're not obligated to reply to my messages. If it bothers you, ignore it-I doubt you started out knowing all this stuff.

Anyway, thank you to those who gave me a helpful response. I'll mess around with it some more, I guess-I'm just wary about that error again. That was a headache.

i dont want to sound like a dumbass (like always) but is there a list that that tells you exactly what each option does?

[Edit]

I know what 1 shot kill, super jump, bump char, unlim ammo, full clip do but not the rest i have turned them on and played but not sure whats changes.

Use the ips file PAL-CD.ips or NTSC-CD.ips depnding on which region you have and patch the default.xbe with the ips patcher.

Copy it back to e:games and select Halo from the games menu in EvoX.

This way you can run Halo without copying the whole games on to the Harddisk

I have the patched default.xbe on  my PC, if you want I can upload it to somewhere
