all the skin makers just send me a background (jpg, tga, whatever tongue.gif) to [email protected] and I'll make a rar with a xpr and skin.ini

So here comes the "dumb" question in this thread..  hehe .. I tried it the other day, it loaded fine, but I think I am missing sumthin here.  Do I need to run Halo from HDD, or can I still run my original DVD copy?  Is that what the *.cfg is for?  I tried readin the NFO, but not to complain(cause it looks sweet) but the instructions weren't real detailed.

yea I know, I'm not good at explaining stuff
well first of all only the cache is required so you can run from hdd or dvd
halo.cfg allows you to tell the path to halo

somebody made tutorial but it's not on x-s yet wink.gif

yup don't think either and as you see the trainer has only 10 options what are you gonna ingame change? swap 10 projectiles? and the trainer is ingame code it just opens it tongue.gif

Well yeah the trainer only has a few amount of changin, but if that is possible, why isn't the idea of possibly dropdown(not actually drop down , but say enter for this option to go into next menu.  I'm no coder and I wish i stuck with programming, cause this is gettin anyone who loves Halo excited as all hell.  I guess the real good stuff will come in the wake of the PC release with the moddin tool.  I'm just now tryin to figure out the most efficent way of movin what patched caches I have to be in the right place at the right time.  I remember a few years back when it was "impossible" to do any of this with our boxes.
