yes, go to elite-modz.com and follow the halo hacks links, you'll find a small ppf patcher program there, install it and its basically "find patch", "find what cache00*.map file u want to patch, the press the "patch button'  then, just put it back on your xbox.....

This for some reason isn't working for me.  I got the cache003.map and applied the patch I downloaded, but it's not any different than before.  I guess I'll keep trying.

Blood Gulch is not always cache003.  You should wipe out everything in your cache folder and reload Halo.  Then start a multiplayer game on Blood Gulch.  This should force cache003 to Blood Gulch.  Then try again.

Flagg

I have the original blood gulch cache file saved on my PC.  This way I just make a copy of it and edit the copy I have.  This saves some time.  But I did get it working.  I kept applying the same patch to the same file and finally it worked.  I never changed anything so I don't know why it wasn't working to begin with.

EliteModz:

I have a problem.  I downloaded a couple of your patches (blacksky, Desert Mod, carnage, hogtele) and patched them to original cache files.  Desert Mod, black sky, and carnage worked perfectly.  When I tried hogtele it froze at the level loading screen.  I attempted to run the other patched cache files, but they froze as well.  I find now that I can only run unpatched cache files, because they don't freeze.  Help!  I love Desert Mod, but it keeps freezing.

original cache file or original compressed file?  if you patched it then recompressed it, then youll have to recopy the map off of the cd, if you patched the original "cache" file, then just delete the cache and restart blood gulch, then use the new one that it makes.  If I understood you correctly, this should fix your problem.

This is much better than when Boll gave it to me originally, as a Python patch.  lol  I couldn't even get it to work and had to do it by hand.  It's so cool though.  A wasteland with scorched sky, and rockets with the defoliant contrail coming from that badass, yellow, flying Ghost.  mmmmm....  Great patch.

I was swapping cache files in and out fine until I used the hogtele.  Now everytime I want to run a patched cache, I have to make a new one (thanks andrusk).
