Hey, someone want to make me a shirt or something that would let everyone at LAN parties know I am the one who brought flight to multiplayer! lol j/k of course.

To clear some things up: I have only released the tut to a few people to test out and make movies and such. I imagine it will be public later today. It allows you to fly any vehicle in any map. And it makes for some of the sickest multiplayer EVER!

Also I did post on here about this, but I don't think it really got noticed, which is pretty funny since everyone on IRC was freaking out. =)

Thanks to everyone who posted on this thread saying how cool the hack is, encouraging me, and also to the guy who paid homage and made me out to be some sort of deity (I never saw God make Warthogs fly!) hehe. Hopefully you will have this in a few hours and then maybe someone will play a game with me on Aquaduct. That would rock.

Hey, sorry to release the movie and not a tutorial right away, but I think the tutorial will be public by tonight. i needed to build interest in the hack anyways =) The hacking is just some simple metadata splicing and physics swapping. I'm glad you are all so excited about the hack. In case you are wondering:

They fly like banshees, or they can hover at a standstill when not moving
You can do it to any vehicle in any level, but multiplayer levels are where the fun is at
It is really cool to shoot someone off a ghost when they are at the top of Bloodgulch and see the ghost come crashing down onto their dead body
And no I am not a deity, just a maniac with too much free time to waste on halo hacking

you should have it very soon, until then, enjoy my shitty ass movie that I made =)

Thanks, Sir Vival. I have to admit, I'm pretty proud of myself. I have been trying to get Banshees into multiplayer since I heard about that hacking, but then when I found out a little more about the process and realized this would be an easier and better alternative, I spent almost a week figuring it out. It was extremely discouraging, but so rewarding. I have since played a four player game with it in BG. Two words: fucking awesome. Dogfights with tanks kick so much ass your head will fucking sping. I love this hack. Can't wait for some LAN play, and I still need to test it out on Hang 'Em high so I can get to the roof, or on Boarding Action.

hehe, i was just playing for a second. I was playing against a little kid. On his screen you could see my tank blot out the sun, then I just cut the forward thrust and dropped it directly onto him from a few hundred feet up. lol

It's coming. Keep your panties on. When I did a small release of the tutorial earlier today there was a small problem with it that caused it to crash, so it is a good thing I am not jumping right into it. I want to amke sure nothing is wrong, have Boll make his movie, then release.
