I can't seem to get the second version (or the first for that matter) running for the life of me. I patched the xbe, used craxtion cause I couldn't remember what settings to use for just data, burnt. The program starts up, but whenever I try to select a map it says that "Map is not yet supported," or something close to that. Help! I need it before tonight's halo partay!

Also-it doens't matter what region I have it set to, and I also deleted the region.cfg..no juice.

you sure included the Maps folder?
not all maps are supported for pal yet

Yes, I included the maps folder. I'm running NTSC, it's set to NTSC, and all that good stuff.

I'll explain to you step by step of what I did. Downloaded it. Extracted. Patched the xbe. I then downloaded Halo.cfg and set it to

D

default.xbe

Thought it doesn't seem to matter one bit if that is in there or not, or if it's right. I don't mind saving the cache, taking out HCE, and then sticking in Halo again.

Does it matter if HCE is on a disk? Mine is.

Because I prefer to keep things on a disk, and I can't find my crossover cable at the moment.

didn't test it from cd cos I have no good cdrw at hand
is there any special code needed when starting from cd?

Well, right now I'm burning as a DVD-R so I can try to copy it to my HD. PX-loader or whatver it's called doesn't seem to want to copy from a CD.

Have you ever even seen this error before?

Oh, one more thing-is that the right config file to start Halo from the dvd tray?
