I have made a black sky with starts and no sun, but the level, BG, is still bright.

the shadowing throws the level off

if it wasnt there or was less it might make the difference

It would be really cool to have night levels. I think it would really only be alotta fun on system link games of 8 or more people, to keep the action going. I think sidewinder would be a better night level. But thats just my oppinion. Are you thinking pitch black (flashlights neccessary) or just dusk?

I'm thinking dark enough where you need your flash light. I mean whats the point of having it, if your not going to use it?

I just noticed that after I posted. Man all this time, and I had no idea you couldn't use flash lights on MP. I do know the warthog lights work. Maybe I could get them to work with MC some how.

actually, just trying to acheive evening or dusk, not pitch black.  Or, midnight with a full moon.  I havent checked yet, but im not sure if the sniper night vision works on bg mp.  any how, im pretty close to achieving it, but i dont want to post a pic till i have it just the way it should be.  i saw some pics on another post, and they look unfinished (dark sky, but lighted ground sad.gif ) so why even post a inferior pic?  Anyhow, if i get a near perfect midnight map, i'll post my pic and values.  All i want to do is take a vacation from work, and go home and hack halo!!   But this damn work stuff keeps getting in the way!!!!

My level is dark.  Dark enough to hide by the walls of BG  tell someone comes running by, then bang.  hehe
Ill post some pix when i get my video capturing device installed.
