I used the Silent Cartographer list above to make an HCE list, and can edit the values, but when I start the game it always replaces the cache file - either if I continue my old SC game or change the difficulty level.

It is cache000.map isn't it?

Any suggestions?

Please take pity on us - has anyone replaced the warthog with the banshee in PAL silent cartographer? What was the offset and the code?

Thats great EggHead have not tryed it yet but I will when I get back, but here's my question how did you find out the PAL offset in the first place. Come to think about it how did the NTSC guys find out their off sets, was it just trile and error which does not seem likely as they have so many offsets found for even texters and other suff.
