first, you will need to set the Assult Rifle projectile to plasma grenades (not cooked). when you reach the last door (before the control room) lay the floor with a ton of grenades, as soon as you press x to end the level throw a plasma grenade to explode the rest. if you did this correctly the cut scene will start and you will see yourself die. I got my dead body right in front of cortana
