Your link won't work, he's probably using a tv capture card or an xbox converted to a devkit, which can take screenshots.

ehh i dunno about the doax screen thing partly already there cuz doa3 has a screenshot hack too
it too takes screens right from framebuffers

The easiest way would be to use a debug bios and just take screen shots that way. I don't see why people would waste too much time writing game specific hacks for screen shots when you can use the debug bios to take pictures in any app running on the xbox.

nope not for halo
halo was build with an older xdk and you can't use it with the current debug bioses
you'll need a special 'debug halo'
