I found the part about the PSP having the same remade games, oh so many hypocrits.
No doubt about it, the man's a genius. I mean, cmon, he wanted the moustache on Mario, you can't get smarter than that! All joking aside, he did have strong points, particulary about Sony, they are still in the past, and afraid of change. They are just now currently changing from the older analog systems to a majority of digital software. Nintendo can't die yet, the DS is on the path of success, and Nintendo is good at jewing people into buying adapters to link thier products.
I can't pull myself to buy any handheld right now, I don't have the need. And as for the next gen consoles, I doubt I'll be getting any of those unless the prices drop to the 150 mark. Guessing Nintendo will be first to get there, but if the games don't raise thier recommended ages, then I just might give up on the console scene all together.
QUOTE
Japan has proven itself far more effectively in gaming than America has.
I think the Japanesse mentallity of smaller and quicker vs the Americans bigger and stronger, seen in cars, puts Nintendo ahead in the electronic industry. It allows them to get more out of older hardware, keeping the prices cheaper and making everyone happy.
