Are there different versions of GTA lll? Like GTA San Andreas? Well the default.xbe file for GTA lll is "2.92 MB (3,072,000 bytes)."
Here is detailed step i did to install this one mod:
1.Opened the banshee.txd file with txd workshop; compressed and converted to VC Xbox.
2.Opened gta3.img in IMG TOOL and deleted banshee.txd and replaced with yours.
3.Deleted banshee.dff and replaced it with yours.
4.Rebuilt Archive
5.Installed the djmagics mod
6.Added the colors to carcols.dat
7.FTP all the files back
8.Formatted X/,Y:/and Z:/
9.Deleted GTA3.CAP.Final.temp.
10.Cleared E:/CACHE
11.Booted Game
A message came up about 98% loaded saying:
There's a problem with the disc you're using. It may be dirty or damaged.
What did i do wrong? San Andreas is easier to mod than this. Is there any other information about GTA lll modding? This is very difficult compared to San Andreas. I have the Trilogy Disc of GTA lll.
