It'd be great to have some sort of save backup site for the original Xbox. Just about to dust one of the old girls down to play some GTA San Andreas for nostalgia sake, wanted to play a certain mission without having hours to get it to, then went online to find a save, and I can't find any. :/

There are sites with some "original Xbox game saves" still around but unfortunately due to forum rules here I can't post any links. However if you Google you might get lucky.

could anybody help me getting a GTA SA 100% Save Game (or 95% whatever) for my GTA SA XBOX / European / PAL version? I have evox + hdd install

maybe I should add to this: I am not intrested in the Action Replay save games. I dont have such a device. I am unsure wheter www.xbox-saves.com was doing action replay or "real" save games.

Anbybody out there that has a 'real' xbox gta sa save game / 100% / PAL -- one that I could simply ftp upload to my e:\udata\54540086 (GTA SA's save folder) ?

Action Replay saves are "real saves".  The only difference between what you're talking about, raw save files with directory structure, and the Action Replay saves are that the Action Replay saves are zipped.  They still contain all the files and the required directory structure.
