k i wanna make a a pimped out a houses , with a casnio, bar, gym etc ...... i've seen a mod kinda like what i want "groveupgrade.ipl", but it only works some times.why is this? sometimes it frezzes at the loading screenand sometimes it don't y, wtf does anybody know were i can learn more about theses ipl filles....

one thing I can tell you is that if you use MEd (Map Editor), it takes care of those files for you in a nice GUI.

yep, although installation is just a bit tricky.

I have the advantage of having the PC ver of san andreas as well.
the author of the program originally made the program for pc, so it looks for a pc installation with a exe ect.
however, it can read the xbox map files, simply by replacing the maps folder with the one from the xbox.

you won't be able to run the pc game, but MEd will still open it, and be able to successfully modify it too.

now, there is more than likely a much easier way to do this, i just haven't had the time to mess around with it.

ya i got the pc version too, so i installed it , deleted the maps folder, i need a better video card,, i was goin to do it use the coodornates mod and find the stuff i want with object spawner , everything manullly

i picked up IPL Helper off gta garage u ever try it ? i'm try if i can make another garage too, check it out

the ipl files contain object placment...it takes code of files from the img then places them on the map using corddinates..these can be modded but the ides are hardder

X is the horizontal coordinate system
Y is verticle,
and Z is the 3rd (width if you will)
hence a 3d coordinate system.

the rotation is one of the other numbers. I don't know which one though because their are 3 different rotations too

for a successful looking rotated object, yes you would use a combination of the three (ussually only two though.)

MEd can do this easily...

wrongggggggggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cracked it tho,, it has to do with theses 0, 0, -1, -7.549790126e-008, -1 at the end ,,, i'm building the sickest house u ever did see
