Well what you have to do is FTP the trainer .etm file over to your EvoX trainers directory. Restart your xbox. Go into the trainers menu and select the Grand Theft Auto one you have, enable it and load up the game.

I have only used a trainer once and that was long ago, hopefully that method works for you. PM me or post here if that didn't work. wink.gif

as far as I know, you can use trainers on stock games IF you copy it to your hard drive (via a application like dvd2xbox)  otherwise the xbe doesn't get patched with the trainer.

This is for DVD2 (Grand Theft Auto : Vice City)!!!

   - In case you drop into water and take a swim, the energy trainer
stays active. Hit LEFT + RIGHT THUMBSTICK to disable/enable it!

   - Make sure to fetch our GTA 3 TRAINER aswell..

   - Watch out for more.. We're ready to burn!

  Installation:

   - Copy file "default.xbe" and "pjx" to game dir

I have no game directory is what I'm saying

it also sounds like you could make a xiso of gta but instead place these files (replacing the originals) in the root dir of the disc. (D:/)  then burn the iso and play away!  but to save some effort, it easier to run games off the hdd.  a gta game directory would look something like this:
E:/games/gta San Andreas/
or
F;/games/gta San Andreas/

ect.
