i just got gta sa and i was wonderin if there was any diff betwee newer and older versions of the game....

ive heard that they re-did a couple things that make modding harder

is that true or false

Well yes they did moddify it for one they removed Hot Coffee  :(

Also modding the game is harder they moved some stuff on the disk
The Trainers for 1st edition dont work on this one

As far as i know the standard Cheats that you enter by the controller are all still in this one.

any ideas on how to add cars and stuff

i may be messin up but i highly doubt it

so are there any tuts on how to mod the new version

if not any one know what files i need to replace to make it like the first version

possibly the main.scm and the script?  or do you guys think its deeper then that

I would recommend just to buy the 1st edition but if you have the 2nd then i guess you dont want to spend more money.

I dont know if this would be legal but it might be im not a lawyer so i dont know the law but here it is

You could rent the 1st edition and make a copy

That might be legal becuase you do own the ORIGINAL of the 2nd edition

Im not 100% sure on how legal this is.

Just do stuff like you do on the normal version and see if it works. Download some cars (In Xbox Format - GTAXboxMods.com) and then open gta3.img. Make sure if you want to replace a car, say the taxi, that the car you are adding is already named taxi.dff and taxi.txd, and then once you have gta3.img look up the file you want to replace and then select the Replace Function. After you have replaced the car's DFF and TXD rebuild gta3.img and send it over to your Xbox. Make sure to delete the X, Y, and Z directorys (your Cache) after the new gta3.img has been sent to your Xbox.

Always backup your gamefiles FIRST
