First of all, I own the GTA SA game for my xbox. I am sick of the long loading time off of my DVD, so I loaded the game on my HDD and tried to run it from there.
The game runs fine until the mission that I need to drive a guy to the barber shop. From that point on, every time I get in a car, the HDD locks up and game freezes. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?

Alright how this is sounding to me is that you are missing some file that is accessed during that mission.

Also this is not in the correct Forum it should be in Backups not Game Hacking.

It fits in both sections...

The gamehacking sections get alot of those kinds of questions anyway because this section has the people in it that have the game

lordyili your problem could be any of a number of things...

the first I think of is that you might have installed a mod that is affecting the game

second is that all the files probably didnt backup properly so your missing a file or one is damaged

third is that your xbox is just going out

Alright here is what i would try.

First delete the entire game off your xbox hard drive.

Then use dvd2xbox to put it back on from your original disk

That should do the trick.
