Installed A Car And Its Not There
« on: October 09, 2005, 11:49:00 AM »

Alright i tryed to put in a Evo8 tuned. Heres my steps

Alright i take the .txd open it in txd workshop and then change it to SAN ANDREAS.

Then use ImgTool to open my gta3.img and i find the hotrina.txd and hotrina.dff

I replaced then with my new car files. Then i rebuild the achive

Then i open carcols.dat and change the file in there.

It says you can create a handling with SA handling editor.

I figure that just keep the handling from the previous car i replaced.

Ok then i FTP every thing back to my xbox and clear the cashe.

Start up GTA:Sa and use the cheat which spawns the veichle and it says Cheat Activated but no car. There is not phicical car there i even tryed waking around there and see if i ran into the car but no its not even there.

I did all the steps exactly.

You changed the TXD to "San Andreas" Why?

TXD's for SA Xbox are supposed to be saved as "VC Xbox", not "San Andreas". "San Andreas" is the PC TXD Format.
