Disable Welcome Screens For Each Island/place
« on: August 14, 2005, 02:23:00 PM »

Nothing pisses me off more than having my police cheeta topped out and then a stupid welcome screen pops up and out of no where a car spawns right in front of me... is there a way to disable these stupid "welcome to <place>" splash screens?

It's a loading screen, and no, I don't believe you can get rid of them.

You could get rid of em , if xbox was faster

Like on PC , those loading screens could be up for like 5 seconds , 1 second , or never depending on the speed

Running off the Xbox Harddrive these screens last less than a second on my standard xbox.

GTA3 & VC are also small enough to fit onto a stock Xbox Harddrive.

This is the first GTA game I've come across to not have any loading screens between cities, well in my case anyway. I didn't even know that there are loading screens until I read this thread, is my xbox more faster?

Maybe it's because I'm using an ATA133 cable and a 300GB 16MB cache harddrive.
