ok.... first of all, i've searched the forums yesterday for about 30min and today for about 20min....

i've used avalaunch and original xboxdash (but modded, chip no turn off), both just reboot to the dash...
i've turned off IGR, switched regions, deleted cache in e:/, cleaned out x,y,z..
i'm useing a brand new copy of GTA SA (they said it was the last one they have.. lol)
wont run off HD either.. parental setting.... checked it...
i also set date/time. nothing

any suggestions?

which region did u set it to? Mine was on default or something and i switched it to NTSC and i set TSR to Disable.

i dont remember what the region was at, but i switched it to "ntsc m" and i also tried "ntsc j" but nothing....

hmm..still nothing eh? The only other suggestion i can give you is just keep trying more combinations of TSR, IGR, and Game Region until u get it right, or maybe find a PAL default.xbe and try using that.

hmm.. i cant find anything "TSR" in ava...
am i looking in the wrong spot? i've looked through the settings

I dont use avalaunch but i know Evo X has TSR in it and im 90% sure u have to disable TSR so maybe u could get Evo X and disable it from there if u cant find it in Avalaunch

welp, i copied all the files from my other xbox's "C:/" to this one.. and for some reason the "parental control" on the one i've been having problems on still doesn't have "games".. it has password and movies... but not games...

any suggestions?

is there anything is udata/tdata that could be causing this?
it doesn't make sence... the EXACT same files on c:/ on both xboxes, but the settings are different..

welp.... i've looked and looked... then i decieded to load an old eeprom i had on it, and with configmagic i noticed the region was set to 2... but in ava, evox and xboxdash, it was "ntsc m" (region 1)... so i loaded a region 1 eeprom and BAM! GTA SA!!
