If you are an Evo X user make sure you have there settings:

IGR:Disable all IGR settings

TSR:Disable the TSR

Game Region:Make sure game region is set to NTSC - North America.
Or PAL if youre playing a PAL version.

In most cases, only ONE of the above steps needs to be used to run a backup of SA.
