on gtaxboxmods.com in the forums one guy says to search on google and you can find a away to use ur old saves even with main.scm file mods.. well i duno what they are searching for but i found no such thin on google... has anyone else figured this out? id like to keep my saves even when using mods if there really is away... im thinking there isnt for real

But you can actually use saves instead of, replacing the main.scm and having to delete all your current saves.

No, it includes all the changes made to the main.scm.

I dont follow what ur saying... if you download a mod, and dont use the main.scm file that comes with it, u still get all the changes it makes?? *confused*

use you saved game FROM the modded main.scm on the orginal main.scm is what ZDemon is saying

so using the modded main.scm save that way would still keep the modded content? even without the modded main.scm?

What i gather (havent tested myself will tonight) save a game while main.scm and what not is replaced and u r using ur mod, then switch back to the original main.scm and use that save supposedly. i still dont see how this would work cuz when u switch the main.scm to use a mod in the first place the game wont load. i will try sometime tonight tho
