I haven't had a look at the SA files yet, (am @ work) but I  did make a Vice City Radio CD a long time ago, and vaguely remember the files being in a .wma format... I think... obviously not much help, but I'll look into it when I get home

Yeah I looked around and the San Andreas doesn't use .WMA. It uses a quite different format.

Unlike in VC where the radio stations were just one long audio file im SA the files are all different small files (this is so you get different f.e. commercials at different times).

There was a crack for the PS2 version but I haven't seen the xbox version crack out yet.

Does anyone know if the PS2 app (http://www.tinyted.n...anAndreasRadio/) allows you to rip the voice packs out (ie. CJs comments/cut scene speech) or only the radio stuff?

Anyone?

Come on people, I know I'm not the only one that wants to hear the dialogue in this game again:

Cesar: Do you think I'm a Mexican jumping bean, holmes?

I have been searching and searching on how to do this. I would like to get all the music off and put it on my hard drive so I can use it with other games. Has anyone figured this out yet?

The app I mentioned above will rip the majority of the radio station tracks but not the DJs or the chat channels.

Using that should aid you - leaving me here to find a method of extracting that damn vocal pack...

That app doesn't work for xbox. When I put my disk in and try to open that app. It tells me it can't find the playstation 2 GTA disk.
